Central Virginia Alliance for Community Living, Inc. (CVACL) (formerly Central Virginia Agency on Aging, Inc.) is seeking a Director of Finance and Administration. The position will oversee the financial and administrative functions of CVACL to include agency, fund, and program budget development; financial reporting for federal and state funding; insurance procurement and application; development and implementation of financial policy and procedure; financial recordation and managing grant funding; accounts payable; and payroll implementation. The position supervises a Finance Assistant. CVACL operates with a budget in excess of 2 million; is funded 80+% by federal funding; and utilizes fund accounting for managing awards. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree; experience with managing federal funding; demonstrated budget development experience; and experience with fund accounting software systems is preferred. (CVACL) is accepting applications for a part-time van driver (average 15- 20 hours) to deliver meals and transport individuals in the area.  High school diploma or GED equivalency required.  Valid driver’s license required and satisfactory DMV report; drug screen and criminal background check required.

Local non-profit seeks experienced Executive/Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Director. Excellent administrative and computer skills; demonstrated experience with all applications of MicroSoft Office; knowledge, skills and abilities related to utilizing and marketing through social media; ability to maintain and update websites; excellent writing skills; ability to communicate and interact with people from all socio-economic backgrounds; ability to multitask, operate within a pressured environment, and work a flexible schedule. Four year degree preferred. Demonstrated experience will be considered in lieu of four year degree. Competitive Salary and benefit package.
